My artistic pursuits (writing, drawing and cosplay) do tend to lend themselves to one another, with each creating inspiration for the rest.

My writing (and I cannot recall a time that I did not write) is strongly influenced by a lifelong passion for Egyptology, Classical Studies, Vampires and High Fantasy.

Drawing is a means to give shape to the characters and worlds that are so clear and vivid in my mind. At least, that is what I strive for, but I don't consider myself a gifted artist.

Cosplay is my newest passion, with my first-ever attempt in October of 2014. I think I took to it so readily from years of "playing dress up", doing renaissance fairs and enjoying complex Halloween costumes. Although I may expand out in the future, for the time being, my only focus is only on playing my WHM from FF XIV. For me, it's the joy of that game and the joy those in attendance received from seeing characters step off the screen that made me want to do it in the first place and is what told me I wanted to do it again.

Truly, this is a place where my imagination is set free. I sincerely hope you enjoy your time here.
